Re: Estate

A guardian serves while your dad is living. When he dies, the guardian's authority ends. The guardian will have the responsibility to file a final account and may have some "wrapping up" to deal with if there were some things outstanding at the time of death. If Dad has a will, the person named as his executor will take over and make sure that his estate goes to the people named in the will.
