Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I was given a house by my mother during my marriage now I want to file for divorce. Does my husband have any legal rights to the house?

In Ohio, the general rule is that gifts and inheritances received during the marriage are separate property. Things change a bit if marital funds went into improvements and the like, but usually gifts will be seen as separate property.
