Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Husband is employeed so he can state the terms of divorce?

This is a question regarding my sister. Here are the details. Basis for divorce - mental emotional abuse on husbands part. He is employed, she was coerced into quiting her fulltime job by her husband. As of today, she believes that her husband can do whatever he wants with the terms of the divorce because he is employeed and she is not. This include her not having any right to a protion of his 401K which was accumulated during the 10 years they were married and both were working. Help me understand.

It doesn't matter who has more money. Each party is entitled to half of the assets as well as half the liabilities in a divorce. He can say what he wants, but your sister is entitled to half of the 401k as well as possibly spousal support.
