Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Me and my husband are currently wanting to move from Ohio to West Virginia which is only about 3 hours away. The problem is that I have a 5 year old son that I have sole custody of with my ex-husband and my current husband has a 10 year old daughter that he has shared parenting with but is the residential parent with his ex. All my family is in West Virginia and there is nothing for me here. My husband has been unable to find steady employment for a couple of years and was offered a job in west virginia and we were offered a house rent to own for $450 a month wich is cheaper than the house we have now. Can our children's other parents stop us from moving or do you think the judge would deny our move.

If there are divorce decrees and parenting plans in effect, check what they say about moving out of the county and out of the state. You may need to give written notice to the other parents and they may need to give written permission. Otherwise, this is a matter to take up with the court.
