Leave spouse and take children

If I decide to leave my spouse can I take my children and leave the state to live near my family before filing for divorce? And would my spouse be able to make me have to return to Ohio if there is no court order?

You have as much right to leave the state with your children as your spouse does, in the absence of a court order. However, if you leave the state, you will have to establish residency before being able to file there.
