Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

out-of-state visitation transportation responsibilities/costs?

Who is responsible for any and all transportation costs/duties with regard to visitation if the custodial parent moves out of state without notifying the court or the non-custodial parent? I have been told there is a law governing this situation, true? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

There is no law on the issue, but there is court practice. The Court has to give permission to move out of state. If no permission is granted the Court can take that into consideration when assessing the costs of transpertation.
