Can you please help me with this question...

I purchased my home over 3 years ago and at the time, my on-again-off-again boyfriend was living with me...His mother bought us a refrigerator as a house warming gift.. Each time we've had a disagreement and he is asked to leave - he threatens to take the refrigerator(it's fairly expensive).

This last and final time, the same thing has happened - please let me know what are my legal rights when it comes to the refrigerator..
