Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I put a tpo on my husband, now i want it dropped. he will lose his job with the boilermakers if he doesnt get out of jail. he never harmed me, but he stole my purse to go out drinking. we had a little struggle, and i hurt my knee. I want to repair this before it is to late. I got served with a supeona, and was told that if i didnt show up, it would be better for him. I love my husband, and I made a mistake by placing the tpo on him. I want my life back.

Why is it better that you not show up? Usually the victim--in this case, you--is permitted to make a victim's inpact statement at court just before the sentencing. Contact to the judge's chambers to see about this. You can express your concern in your statement, and the judge MAY take your words under consideration. Worth a try.
