Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Restriction of Visitation

My son's father and myself were never married and my son is 3 1/2. Up until about 1 year ago, my son's father was very insistant that he see his son and stopped at nothing to get visitation. Ever since he has moved out of his current wife's home his attitude has totally changed, last year he never called on father's day or my son's birthday and for a time he never showed up for scheduled visitation, I didn't even receive a phone call letting me know he wouldn't be picking him up. In the last month he has moved to another location and decided that he only wanted to see his son from 12-7 every other weekend. The last time he took him my son he kept him out till 11pm and then my son came home and threw up, the time before that he took him to a tattoo parlor while he had him for visitation. My son's father has a history of domestic violence, he beat his wife unconcious. Is there any way I can limit visitation, there is no shared parenting order at this time between us.

Re: Restriction of Visitation

If there is a risk of harm to your child you can limit visitation and follow up immediately with a motion with the Court to modify the visitation.

Good luck.
