I would like to know what my rights are to fight for custody of my children when I am active duty Army and living in Baumholder, Germany and my children live in St. Mary's, Ohio with their father.

It is not a losing battle, but it will be a tough one. You must show that it is in the best interest of your child to live with you. Merely having a better environment is not sufficient. You must also show that it is safe(relatively speaking) in the area where you are stationed and that the child will be taken care of if you are restationed to a war zone.

good luck!!!!
