Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I have been seperated from my last husband for 8 years and he has decided to get a divorce - fine - he said he would pay for it - no trouble - I am in Akron, OH and he is in Warren, OH - different counties. I recieved papers in the mail and signed them and had them notarized but I have received another set of papers asking about my income. I figured the divorce would be final by now - why do they need to know what I make and how much money I have? There are no children in this divorce.

In Ohio, an Affidavit of Property and Affidavit of Income and Expenses has to be filed by each party in a divorce. I suspect that you were recently sent an Affidavit of Income and Expenses which asked about your income.
