Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

shared parenting

Currently my position as the father is residential parent for school placement in ohio. For the Past 4yrs (he will be 5 in dec.) I have raised my son 3 1/2 days per week with no child support. Unheard of I know but true, so my question is should i get married to a girl in New Jersey can I seek grounds to move from Ohio with my son to NJ for a better quality of life.

Child support and child custody are separate issues for the court to consider. You probably won't get extra points for deferring on the child support issue to move out of state with him. The change will be allowed if the court determines it to be in the best interest of the child.
