Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Im being charged with Ohio revised code 2925.11 c8 possession of spice under 99 grams it was an unopened package I purchased at the store it says its legal on the package they said its a minor misdemeanor I was wondering what the fines may be if its worth fighting or if I should just take it then go after the store and manufacturer for selling a product misleading product I have no prior drug charges and used this product because it was supposedly a legal alternative
