Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

During a civil medaition can an attorney oppose their client from accepting an offer? The client accepted the offer and the attorney ojected and tried to remove the client. We are talking about a $700 difference. Thank you

No. The case belongs to the client not the lawyer. If the client wants the offer the lawyer must accept it. The lawyer can try really hard to talk you out of it but ultimately it is only your decision.
