frequent harrassment
I have a daycare in my home. I run it leagally and by the book. I have a neighbor who continually calls the police, the city zoning and other city officals and claims thatI have 15 or more children. I never have more than 6 at any given time. the police document this when they make thier frequent stops, as to her complaints. she has called the cit about us putting our trash out 2 hours too early, and the zoning again when we had our fence errected. she stands outside and vidoe tapes us often as if to say ''I AM WATCHING''. this to me is harrassment. can I file charges and make her stop filing false reports and constantly harrassing me, my job, and my family? her teenage children and thier friends also join in with remarks and property violations. I have made apolice report twice, but I don't want to appear like her and file too many. what can I do?

This sounds like a claim if it is interfering with your business...that claim is called "Tortious Interference with a Business Relationship"

Of course, if any of this that she is complaining about is actually true, then you lose.

It might be a good idea to contact the prosecutor to schedule a hearing to tell the other person the stop the stalking.
