Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Verbal Agreement on payments

I bought an engagement ring for a friend on my own credit card with an agreement from the friend that she would make all of the payments. After missing a payment 2 months into the bill, she stopped paying the bill. She has made no effort to pay the bill or contact me and let me know she can not pay it. She also will not answer my phone calls or call me back. I have payed the bill off with my own money so my credit can no longer be ruined by this. I want the money back that she owes me and I wanted to know if this is something I should get an attorney over or if I should file in small claims court. Do I have a good case?

Your best bet is small claims court.
