Change L2 status

Nowadays, I have L2 visa and I would like to start up a new business, perhaps a Franchise or other; as a result, I would need to change my status.

Could you please give some guidelines regarding this matter? What do I have to do as Venezuelan? how much do I have to invest?

It seems that you will be looking for a E2/Investor visa. The amount of money required will depend on the area you intend to set up business, either $500,000.00 or 1 million
