Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

I am a U.S. citizen, and I am a petitioner for my older sister's family (3 people), my brother's family (2 people), and my younger sister's family (3 people) on May.1999. Now it's time for me to file an I-864 Affidavit of Support for all my siblings, but in the I-864 form part 5, I was confused on questions A through G. How do I count my sponsor's household size, because each of my siblings have their own case number. For example, if I do my older sister's case now, do I use a family size of 7 to match 2009 poverty guidelines or do I have to add up all of my sibling's family members together? how much incomes do I need to have to match 2009 poverty guidelines for 12 peoples, if my incomes can not match what they requested, May I use my personal's Assets to match them.

I looking forward to hear from you.

If you are the only sponsor, you will have to count in ALL the people you are petitioning for PLUS yourself, and ALL your children, wife and other dependents.

You file separate Affidavits for your beneficiaries (and include their dependents into the affidavits), and you have to disclose all the people you are sponsoring or sponsored in the past (the NVC will check it anyway)

Look at the 2009 federal poverty guidelines, and you will see the minimum threshold number.

If you use assets, it is counted as 1 to 5 (the difference multiplied by 5). If your personal income plus assets are not enough, you will have a hard task of fining joint sponsors, people who can agree to share financial responsibility for your relatives.

Here on a public forum, I cannot give you a case-specific legal advice. If you require assistance in these matters or would like to schedule a consultation, please email at Attorney [@] law-visa-usa.com, I would be glad to help.
