Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

I have a notice of intent to deny my I-485 petition saying there is no proof of sharing a bona fide marital relationship. What documents should I send as supporting proof? Will a lawyer be able to truly help my case?

If you are given an opportunity to submit additional evidence, this consists of photographs, the shower and wedding invitations, joint accounts and joint ownership, etc. If you are informed that you are going to be denied on this basis, the burden to prove a bona fide marriage is greater than usual. I do suggest the advice of an attorney.

I would recomend submitting the following items:

Wedding and wedding related pictures

Vacation pictures

Lease agreement showing that you live together

Joint bank accounts

Any account that shows you are living together (utilities, cable TV, etc..)

Statements from family and friends who see you together as a couple

Any notes or cards exchanged between the two of you which shows affection (flowers, email, texting)

Any publication that shows you as a couple (school, church, etc..)

You are welcome to call me for a free consultation this weekend or anytime next week.
