Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio

Disability

I am a 59 Y/O male to be in Aug % 2009. I am 100 % disable from my work. I recieve $1685. 00 per month from Aetna insurance. This was a policy that I bought thru my employer and I paid 100 % premium. It will pay me until I reach the age of 65. I also recieve $2098.00 per Month from Social security disabilty. I have $225,000 I can recieve thr u retirement from my work place. I am now shown inactive on edical leave. I have numberous health problems. Including heart and kidney. I owe $155,000 0n a first and only mortage on my home. I would love to pay it off. it would save me a payment of $1745.00 per month. Would it be worth doing and woul i loose my disability payments by taking my retirement? I don't think I would loose my social security disability, but i am not sure about the aetna?? I would still be disable from any and all gainfull employment

Thank You

Ray

Re: Disability

It shouldn't effect your aetna insurance but to be sure, you should have someone review your policy. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Edward Dicato
