Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio

If another company steals an image from your website/etc without permission, edits it and then posts it on their website (where they sell services from) and they won't take it down willingly...what can be done?

If the image is an original, than you want to assert you status as a copyright owner. As the creator of the image, you enjoy the ability to produce copies, sell those copies, display the work, assign the work to others, etc. If you have tried and failed to communicate with the company using your image for commercial advantage, retain an attorney to write a strongly-worded letter identifying the image at issue and threatening litigation if they don't cease and desist with their use of the image.
