Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio

can I obtain the copyright to a photo shopped photo with different dogs playing Chicken Foot Dominoes ..... resembles the idea of the famous painting, "Dogs Playing Poker" by C Collidge...would that be considered infringement.....I have very little knowledge re this

I truly would appreciate free information you can give me thank you

Much of this issue will depend on how you are going to use the photo, ie, license it for compensation or just publish it as a parody.

Without seeing them, the only way to know for sure is to apply for a copyright and see what the examiner says. The examiner will apply the statute to the two graphics, prepare a finding and either issue a copyright or file a rejection.
