Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio

Picture of my children on the internet

My step daughter saved a picture on her computer from our ''private'' and secure family webpage. She has posted the picture on the internet and anyone can view this picture.I asked her politely to remove it that i do not want my childrens pictures posted publicly on the internet and her mother sent me and email that says she will not tkae it off. They do not have my permission to post this or any pictures of my children on the internet. My children are 3 and 4 years old and i do not feel it is appropiate. Can i do anything to make them remove this picture? Is their any type of legal recourse i can take? And if so,where would i go to press appropiate charges?

Thank you.

Contact you local prosecuting attorney in the county where this is being done and see if there is any interest on his part. He may refer you to the police or he may not be interested. There is a law called COPPA (Childres' Online Privacy Protection Act). Do a search on that term and you may find some useful information.
