First Offense Petty Theft for a Minor

What is the usual punishment for a first time petty theft for a minor? Does your records or cost of merchandise count for anything?

For a first time offense you should be asking for what is called "Heard and Submitted" which, if you are good for six months or so, the charge will ultimately be dismissed.
