Delayed performance review issue
My anniversary date with my employer is in November. Due to a delay by my supervisor my review meeting was put off until January 8th. In the first week of January I had a verbal altercation w/my supervisor (not our first). He is now refusing to complete my review and address a salary increase until I have developed a plan of correction to address my ''outbursts''. I'm not denying that this is an issue that needs to be addressed but the incident he if referring to occurred after my review period, and there were no other concerns with my performance. Can I be denied my review and appropriate pay increase based on this incident?
Re: Delayed performance review issue
Performance is being used as discipline which is improper, therefore, you should not be denied the yearly review because incentive or salary has a duration and it is unfair for the employer to control incentive through discipline.
