Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

I was let go for writing an email critical of my boss who I was doing most of his work. I am bipolar, suffer depression and anxiety yet in 4 years never missed a day and worked 50-70 hours a week. I never revealed my illness but have come to realize it was the cause of my frustrations. I have since had my meds adjusted and am fine. My question is, they are advertising the opening. I have reapplied and can safely say I will be the only one qualified. I put in my resume my disability. Would it be discrimination if they do not hire me.

No. Subject to a few limitations and exceptions, Ohio is an at-will employment state. That means you can be fired for good cause (you wrote a critical email of your boss), no cause (you were fired for no reason), or bad cause (you were fired because you like cats and your boss likes dogs). Conversely, your former employer doesn't have to hire you back. There is no state or federal law mandating an employer hire a person because they are disabled.
