Wrongful termination
I was fired due to point system for absense. Called in for personal day as was done in the past and was told I needed 24 hour notice. Also told it is in the handbook as such. It is not. I hava a copy. Handbook states that for every month perfect attendance, one point is removed. Mine were not. Have check stubs.
What can I do ? they are also blocking my unemployment benifits! I am 56 years old and have a heart condition which they are aware of.

Contact EEOC, file disability claim for heart. If point system is invalid, or discrimination is present, I recommend agressive action be taken.
