Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio

i recently was almost wrongfully evicted from my old house. he gave me the notice to leave on the 4th, but in my lease is says it wasnt late until the end of the day on the 5th. then he said i never put the water bill in my name but he forged my signature on the water document which i have a copy of and said that it was in my name. I just wanna know if he did anything illegal and if so what options do i have to take against him?

I am sorry to hear about your circumstances. Unfortunately, I do not practice landlord/tenant law; therefore, I am not going to be able to answer your specific questions, nor will I be representing you. I urge you to consult immediately with other lawyers regarding your potential legal rights. Your local bar association may have a lawyer referral service that can provide you with the names of some lawyers near you who handle these types of matters. In the alternative, you may want to contact the Columbus Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service (telephone number 614-221-4112; web address http://www.peoplesbar.org/findingalawyer/referral_form.php). I am sorry I cannot help you.
