Legal Question in Mediation in Ohio

My ex wants to see our child but does not pay child support

I have been divorced for over 12 years, and my ex has not paid child support for over two years. He lives three houses up the street, and barely pays any attention to her. His live in girlfriend is always bad mouthing our daughter and he does'nt say anything about it. We went to court three months age and the judge put him on a purge period and told him he had look for and pay child support. He never abided to this, so he was to appear in court this past week to be sentenced to 30 days in jail, but failed to show up for court. Now there is a warrant out for his arrest. He approached our daughter yesterday and wants to see her, do I have to let him see her?

Without reviewing your various court orders it is difficult to answer your question. Ordinarily visitation and support are not inter dependant. Now,however, with the bench warrant issued against him, it seems to me that he has no ability to demand to see your daughter, where can he go to get enforcement, even if there is an order for visitation.
