Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

What does per annum mean?

We recieved a letter from our lawyer giving us a statement with 5 First Cause of Action sections. Each said my wife will have ongoing treatment for her permanent damages and listed her current injuries from the accident at the co`s establishment. A wherefore statement of Plaintiff prays for judgement against so and so in an amount in excess of $25,000 pre-judgement interest of Ten% per annum plus all other relief to which she may be entitled.

This was sent by my wife`s lawyer to the place where my wife was injured.

Two year statute of limitations is the 23rd of this month. What does this mean in a nut shell?

Re: What does per annum mean?

The attorney sued the person who hurt your wife. Further this was filed just before the statute of limitations lapsed. After the statute of limitations lapses, you can not file the claim. Contact the attorney to see how much you can realistically expect to get.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!
