What liability does the parents of a six year old child have when their child intentionally hurt another child, who is age seven, and the injury required medical treatment and surgery? The incident happened at a Catholic school during recess.

Re: Minor Child Intentionally Caused Injury to Another Minor Child
I beleive that parents are responsible for $10,000.00 in damages for the intentional tort of their minor child. Check with your homeowners policy. It may cover this.
Good Luck.
