Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

house eviction after death of parents

My parents both have passed away, first my mother then my father recently. My father was remarried, and he allowed me to live in his house he had shared with my mom. The house is paid for. Since my father death, i come to find out that he has no will. I am being asked to leave my/his home. I also have a child thats 12 that lives there. Is this a legal action? What can I do to keep my family owned house? My father would have never wanted me and my daughter to be kicked to the streets. Please help.

Re: house eviction after death of parents

If your father did not have a will and the house is in his name alone then it would be split between his new wife and his children.

You should consult an attorney as soon as possible.
