My husband is deceased. This question is regarding the mortgage. Am I his wife legally bound to this mortgage since I am not listed on the mortgage?

The mortgage is a lien on the land so if you inherit the property it will still be secured by the loan.
You should speak with an attorney as soon as possible to see what your rights are with regard to the property. The answer will depend on whether the property passes to you as the surviving owner or if it passes through probate.
