Was given a loan modification by Countrywide. Took to a lawyer, signed and returned. Made 5 on time payments. The 6th was turned down as they stated there was a mistake in signing and the loan had expired.
Can they do this in Ohio , after taking 5 payments?

It depends on what the contract says. I'd contact the same lawyer again about this situation.
