Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

I have a neighbor complaining about limbs hanging over their property. He wants me to take both trees down and pay for most of it(over half he said). I'm willing to work with him if he becomes reasonable and civil. What can he do to force me to take them down?

If you tree limb hangs over a neighbor's property, the neighbor can clear the limbs up to the property line, as it interferes with the neighbor's enjoyment of his property.

Why don't you offer to trim (or pay for the trimming) of the limbs that overhang his property. This would allow you to keep the tree. If he paid for tree trimming, the most he could do is present you with the bill and ask you to pay it.
