I currently pay the Mortgage payments for my Mother-In-Laws property which is in her name. Two Houses on Property, she lives in one and I any my wife, her daughter, lives in the other. She is on Socail Security and does not file as her income level is within the boundaries. We have A transfer on Death Deed. She Originally bought the Property with a Down Payment to give the property to us, on her passing. I Have made all mortgage payments. Am I able to claim the Mortgage Interest on the property seeing that I am Making all payments?

I do not practice real estate law; therefore, I am not going to be able to answer your specific question, nor will I be representing you. I urge you to consult immediately with a real estate lawyer. Your local bar association may have a lawyer referral service that can provide you with the names of some lawyers near you who handle these types of matters. In the alternative, you may want to contact the Columbus Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service (telephone number 614-221-4112; web address http://www.peoplesbar.org/findingalawyer/referral_form.php). I am sorry I cannot help you.
