Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Ohio

name calling considered sexual harassment

I was recently asked by somebody in a higher position if I would want to ''be her bitch'' for the day. I told her that I was not that to anybody. The next day I went to my manager regarding it because if made me feel uncomfortable with it. Today she was being real nasty towards me so I asked my manager if he had said anything to her and he said no, that he wasn't going to do anything about it unless it happens again. I am very uncomfortable with this. I feel that he is condoning what she did.

Follow the proper greivance procedures in your employee manual or union manuals. Document your position in writing to your boss (and her boss) and document any further actions of this person in writing to HR or your supervisor.
