Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

accident at caution light

I was involved in an auto accident at a caution light. I was traveling north bound and traffic was backed up in the south bound lane. At the intersection north and south have a blinking yellow light. Traffic in the south bound lane seperated at the inersection. I procedded to turn west bound across the stopped traffic the intersection was clear. A car traveling south bound jumped out of line and procedded into the intersection where i was. He failed to stop and hit my car on the passanger side. He claimed he was only doing 25mph (which I feel was inacurate for i was driving a 88 coougar a big car and was spun around so my car was facing east bound aginst the curb). The speed limit was 35mph but caution is suppose to be used at the caution light indicates. I was driving without insurance my licence is suspended for 3 months wich i excepted. I now have insurance wich i got immediately after the accident. But an agent for the other party says he can suspended my licence even longer if i fail to pay for damadges.

Re: accident at caution light

Yes, your license will be suspended if you don't pay the judgment - and it will be suspended UNTIL you pay the judgment. Can you still fight it?
