Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Driving with suspended license

My girlfriend has and unpaid speeding ticket in Pennsylvania and thus her license was suspended in Ohio. Last week (ironically we just mailed out the Ohio license reinstatement fee that same day) my girlfriend was pulled over for speeding again. She has a court date for driving with suspended license and are insurance has lapsed. What should we expect in court? Would it help to pay off the old PA. ticket and restart our insurance before the court date? Also how likely is it that she will lose her license because she needs to drive to perform her job duties?

Re: Driving with suspended license

Make sure she gets her license reinstated asap. If she shows up to the pre-trial with her license, the pros. should reduce the DUS to an NOL. This is still a first degree misdemeanor and should be handled very carefully. GET HER LICENSE REINSTATED IMMMEDIATELY!! AND GET INSURANCE OF COURSE.
