In Ohio, the failure to file a lawsuit against the wrongdoer(s) prior to the two-year anniversary of the car crash is a complete bar to recovery for claims of property damage, personal injury and/or wrongful death. Automobile insurance policies may also contain time limitations for presenting claims against the policy.
