Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Speeding

I have two speeds over 80mph in a year. this is about

the 2nd. I was radared at 107mph in a 55 by a state trooper. Should I plead guilt or try to fight it? Should I get a lawyer or save my money? I was in a hurry to meet a freind that has cancer who's not feeling good. I told the trooper this. He said to tell

the judge maybe he might not hit me to hard. I just didnt think I was going that speed. Is there any hope

for me! What kind of punishment I'm looking at?

Re: Speeding

Do you know if you were charged with a misdemeanor or just a speeding ticket?

misdemeanor - you NEED a lawyer - you are facing potential jail time - probation - the whole bit.

traffic ticket - maximum fine - no lawyer -

call me directly if you wish
