Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

If you capitalize an irrevocable, non grantor, complex, discretionary, spendthrift trust with a foreign currency that you later exchange for US dollars, making a large profit, does that money become tax deferred while in the trust?

A trust is a vehicle for managing the disposition of assets. The asset itself is controlled by the regulations and conditions that apply to it. I'm not sure what you mean by non-grantor.
