My dad has a will and is leaving everything to me. Do I have to sell the house to pay off debt?

If the house is part of the probate estate you may need to sell it to pay debts if there are not other sufficient assets.

Your father should consult with an estate planning attorney to make sure that he understands the consequences and whether there might be a better solution.
