Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Estate lawyer

What is a good estimate of how much an estate lawyer would have charged to handle an estate. I handled it the estate myself but I have been to court 4 times, the IRS office twice, and have spent 45hours on the phone. I have sent numerous certified letters at my expense. The bank has refused numerous court orders and railroaded me every step of the way. The estate us yet to be closed and I still mus return to court two more times to report my findings. I have been dealing with this for roughly three months and it is still not resolved. I wasn't familiar with the process so it took me longer than it would have taken a lawyer but I am curious as to roughly how much this would have cost me had I hired someone. Thanks in advance.

Re: Estate lawyer

Most attorney's handle probate matters on an hourly basis and the charges depend on how much work is involved. It is very hard to give you an estimate.
