Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I found a deed to burial plots

I found a deed to burial plots that my grandparents have in Ohio, but they were buried in Florida. Can I sell these plots back to the cemetary, or would it have to go to the surving daughters?

It's more complicated. The law of the county of their residence at time of death would govern. Is it in Florida, Texas, Ohio? Were wills probated? Bottom line, the property would be distributed either according to the terms of both wills taken in sequence of death, or under the state intestacy statute if there was no will. You will need legal advice.

You would have to have the proper authority to sell the plots, either as an executor or administrator of the estate, also depending upon how your grandparents disposed of their estate. I suggest you start by contacting the cemetary.
