Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

If there is a Living Trust separating the Estate 3 ways, is the IRA and Life Insurance included if only one beneficiary is named? Also, the Life Insurance policy was somehow part of the IRA.

Only the assets that are held by the trust will be divided under the provisions of the trust. The IRA and life insurance will pass to the beneficiary named on those assets.
