Money from grandmother

My grandmother and father past away and left three of us some money for a house. Two of them already got their money and I have not gotten a dime. My father said it states that it goes for a house but he is still not letting me have it. How do i know if it says that in the paper work

If your grandmother left you money in her will, you can check with the probate court. The will should be on file there and they will make you a copy. If the money is from a trust it may be a little more difficult to get to the actual document. in any event, if you are 18 or older, you should be able to get the information or an attorney should be able to get it for you.

A will admitted to probate is public record. You can go to the court and read the will or call the court to see it it can be copied and mailed to you for a fee.
