repossessed probate property

my mother bought a car and it was repoed for being late. she just passed away. can one of us get the car back. what happens to the car? can the loan people sell it? do they have to give us something?

If I were you,jusst leave it alone. Once a car is repossesed, it is sold at auction and then your mother would be responsible if the vehicle is sold at a loss. If you wanted to redeem the vehicle you would have to bring the loan current and that may be too expensive.
