do you have to sell the deceaseds house if your the executor & still has a mortgage on it weve been paying the mortgage

If you would like to transfer the home to the beneficiary or beneficiaries, then you or all of you would need to assume the mortgage or pay it off. If it is not possible to assume the mortgage or pay it off, then you will have to sell the home.
