Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My sister died 4/14/2018. She has no money. Her only asset is a house ( $100,000 ) to go to her 40 year old son who is serving 5 more years in prison. Unable to find a will. I was the POA for her. What should I do to grant her wish. There is no money left in her estate.

You can open a probate estate in the county where your sister resided at the time of her death. Unfortunately the POA is no longer valid since she is deceased. Through the probate process, you will be able to transfer the property to her son. You will need her son to sign several probate forms which may be difficult if he is incarcerated but it impossible.
